This project saw a former public house of load bearing masonry construction refurbished and a new fresh and imposing 4 story residential block to the rear. A design and build project, Farrow Walsh advised on the part demolition of the existing structure the installation of a contiguous piled wall to secure terraced housing adjacent to the site and the required structural elements.
The location of the site and close proximity of large sewer structures and mainline rail embankment posed considerable problems; all of which had to be considered when looking at the new build.
