Farrow Walsh Continues to Achieve Successful Gateway 2 Approvals

Farrow Walsh is proud to continue supporting clients through the requirements of the Building Safety Act, with two further projects recently achieving successful Gateway 2 approval from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).

Gateway 2 represents one of the most significant milestones in the delivery of Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs). Introduced under the Building Safety Act, it requires developers to demonstrate that a project has been designed to meet the necessary safety standards before construction can begin. Approval is only granted once the Building Safety Regulator is satisfied that the design complies with the relevant legislation and that robust systems are in place to manage building safety throughout the construction process.

Achieving Gateway 2 approval is far more than a statutory requirement. It reflects a project's commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and best practice, while providing confidence to clients, project teams and future building occupants that the highest standards have been met.

Farrow Walsh has now supported four projects through the Gateway 2 process, with two schemes successfully achieving approval previously and a further two developments recently receiving Building Safety Regulator approval. These approvals demonstrate our team's ability to deliver the detailed structural engineering information required to support the increasingly rigorous approval process.
