Farrow Walsh joined Howes Percival’s Leicester Pub Quiz in support of Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. Competing as No Idea Well Engineered, the team tied for first place on an evening that brought local businesses together for an important cause.

The Farrow Walsh team joined businesses from across Leicester for the Howes Percival Leicester Pub Quiz on Thursday 24th September. Held at the Rutland & Derby Arms, the evening brought people together for some friendly competition while raising money for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
Representing Farrow Walsh were Managing Director Chris Farrow, Director Claire Farrow, Principal Structural Engineer Rikesh Shah and Administrator Amanda Poole. Competing under the name No Idea but Well Engineered, the team put their general knowledge to the test and finished tied for first place.
The result was a welcome bonus on an evening centred on supporting Rainbows. Based in Loughborough, the charity provides specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions across the East Midlands. Its support extends to parents, siblings and the wider family, helping them navigate difficult and uncertain times together.
Community fundraising helps Rainbows continue that work. The pub quiz offered a chance for local businesses to contribute while spending time together away from their usual working environments. For the Farrow Walsh team, it was also an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and meet others from the Leicester business community.
For Farrow Walsh, it was a welcome opportunity to spend time together outside the office and take part in an event connected to a cause that matters to families across the region. Evenings like this also give local businesses a chance to meet in a more informal setting, strengthen existing relationships and get to know others working in and around Leicester.
Thank you to Howes Percival for organising the evening and to everyone who took part and supported the fundraising. Farrow Walsh was pleased to be involved in an event for such an important local charity — and No Idea but Well Engineered was delighted to come away tied for first place.
