Farrow Walsh provides structural, civil and infrastructure engineering services for an exciting new padel and wellbeing destination.
Construction is nearing completion at Rally Yard, an exciting new sports and leisure destination at Asfordby Business Park, Melton Mowbray, which is set to open its doors at the end of August.
Developed to meet the growing demand for high-quality sporting and community facilities, Rally Yard will offer five premium covered padel courts alongside a café, bar and terrace, flexible playing options and future plans to introduce wellbeing-focused activities. The development reflects the increasing popularity of multi-purpose destinations that combine sport, social spaces and flexible working environments within a single venue.
Farrow Walsh is proud to have provided the structural, civil and infrastructure engineering design services for the project, supporting the delivery of a facility that will become a valuable addition to the local community.
Our involvement included the preparation of technical structural drawings, the production of slab setting-out information based on the client team's requirements and the delivery of the engineering design needed to support the construction of the development. Throughout the project, our team has worked closely with the wider design team to help ensure the engineering solutions were practical, coordinated and aligned with the project's programme.
Padel continues to be one of the UK's fastest-growing sports, driving demand for purpose-built facilities across the country.
