A proud moment for our team, the shortlisting celebrates our commitment to practical engineering, collaborative working and lasting value for our clients.

For our practice, this is a moment to recognise the people, relationships and work behind every project. It reflects the collective effort of a team committed to understanding our clients’ ambitions and developing engineering solutions that help turn them into reality.
Organised by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), the awards celebrate the people, organisations and projects shaping the built environment. We are proud to be named among this year’s finalists.
At Farrow Walsh, our work begins with understanding what a project needs to achieve. Each site brings its own circumstances, from the constraints of an existing building to the demands of a new development. Our role is to help clients navigate those considerations with clear advice and practical, commercially focused solutions.
That approach connects our work across residential, commercial, healthcare, leisure and heritage projects. The buildings and settings vary, but the purpose remains consistent: to provide engineering that supports the successful delivery of places people will use, depend on and enjoy.
Being shortlisted offers an opportunity to reflect on that contribution. Behind the drawings, reviews and design decisions are outcomes that matter to our clients and the communities around their projects.
Successful projects depend on the contributions of many people. We work alongside developers, architects, contractors and other consultants, bringing civil and structural engineering expertise into the wider design and construction process.
Our approach is built around listening, communicating clearly and understanding how our work relates to the decisions being made by others. Close coordination helps the team address constraints, develop workable proposals and respond as a project progresses.
The shortlist is therefore an opportunity to recognise our clients and project partners as well as our own team. Their trust, collaboration and shared commitment to delivery are central to the work we do.
Every project relies on the knowledge, care and judgement of the people delivering it.
This recognition belongs to the whole Farrow Walsh team. It acknowledges the daily effort involved in developing designs, coordinating information, responding to questions and supporting clients through the demands of their projects.
As an independent consultancy, we value the close working relationships within our practice and the direct connection between our people and the clients we support. Sharing knowledge and working through challenges together helps us bring a considered approach to each appointment.
We are proud of that collective contribution and pleased to see the practice recognised on a national industry stage.
The shortlisting is a milestone to celebrate and an encouragement to continue developing our practice. Our focus remains on providing thoughtful engineering advice, strengthening our partnerships and supporting projects that create lasting value.
The winners will be announced on December 1st 2026 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
We congratulate the other shortlisted consultancies and thank our team, clients and collaborators for their continued support. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of the sector together.
