Chris Farrow Appointed Judge for The Pineapples 2026

May 11, 2026

Farrow Walsh Ltd is pleased to announce that our Director and Owner, Chris Farrow, will be joining the judging panel for The Pineapples 2026 awards.

The Pineapples are the only awards dedicated exclusively to celebrating excellence in placemaking and place-led initiatives. They recognise projects that go beyond design quality alone, shining a light on places that bring people together, respond to urgent social and environmental challenges, and contribute to fairer, healthier and more joyful communities.

As a judge, Chris will help assess a wide range of submissions, from homes and public spaces to large-scale masterplans and future visions. Each entry is united by a clear sense of purpose, demonstrating how thoughtful planning, collaboration and design can create lasting value for people and places.

Chris’s appointment reflects both his personal commitment to high-quality placemaking and Farrow Walsh’s wider ethos of putting people, context and long-term outcomes at the heart of everything we do. His experience across residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects provide a strong foundation for evaluating the ambition, impact and deliverability of shortlisted schemes.

We look forward to following The Pineapples 2026 programme and to seeing the inspiring projects that will shape the future of placemaking.
