Understanding the Design in Three Dimensions

A coordinated model helps designers and contractors examine how building elements fit together before work reaches site. It supports the review of structural arrangements and interfaces with architectural and building services information, helping teams identify issues earlier.

We develop models to suit the agreed project requirements, supporting design development and construction. Where included within the appointment, model information can also support future operation, maintenance and refurbishment.

Sharing Information Across the Team

We use Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) to exchange model information between compatible software platforms. Information is shared through a common data environment (CDE), giving the project team a managed location for accessing and reviewing project information.

This approach supports communication between disciplines and helps teams work from the appropriate information as the design progresses.

Planning BIM Delivery

Alongside modelling, we support the preparation of BIM execution plans, project information requirements, implementation plans and IT and resource assessments.

Defining these requirements at the outset helps establish responsibilities, expected outputs and how information will be delivered.
